Guests at Smoky Mountain Country Club choose their vacation rental from many attractive condominiums. Each of our vacation rental properties comes with unique amenities, and the views and location vary accordingly. Listed here are answers to the most frequently asked questions from guests prior to making a reservation. We encourage you to speak directly with our reservationists if you do not see an answer to your specific question.
What can we expect in renting a private condominium at Smoky Mountain Country Club? We provide to our guests a fresh, clean home, including linen for the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Also included is a starter supply of dishwasher detergent, washing machine powder, soap, coffee (reg.) and sugar and creamer. Housekeeping and towel service are not provided on a daily basis.
What appliances are included? Rental unit appliances vary depending on unit size. All rental properties include the following appliances:
• Automatic coffee maker
• Microwave oven
• Full size range
What is in the kitchen? Rental properties with kitchen facilities include an appropriate number of place settings for china, silverware, and glassware. Baking dishes, pots and pans, serving dishes and utensils are also included.
Are units within walking distance to the golf course and Pro Shop? Many rental units are within easy walking distance to resort amenities. Since rental properties are constructed in mountainous terrain, while walking to the amenities might be pleasing, walking back could turn out to be more challenging than you anticipated. Most people drive no matter how close they are to the main amenities.
Are rental properties pet friendly? Some rental properties welcome pets, although there may be some restrictions. Please contact your reservationist with pet-related questions. Guests bringing pets must adhere to Resort Pet Policy at all times.
Does our unit come with a fireplace? All of our rental units include gas log fireplaces.
Is there wireless internet in the condos? All units provide free wireless internet. Free wireless internet is also available at the Pro Shop. As with any outside service there exists the possibility of service interruptions beyond our control. We check functionality regularly and will do our best to arrange service calls if your telephone/internet/cable or satellite TV is out, but the timeliness of repair technician visits is beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed.
How close are grocery stores and restaurants? Both Food Lion in Cherokee and Ingles in Bryson City are approximately a 12 minute drive door to door. Bryson City and Cherokee restaurants are also about 12 minutes away; and Dillsboro and Sylva restaurants are less than 25 minutes away.
Are motorcycles permitted in the resort? Motorcycles are permitted on resort property. Smoky Mountain Country Club cannot be held responsible for the security of the motorcycle or items left in/on it.
What if I am checking in after-hours? If you come after the registration desk is closed, a package with your name on the outside will be in the black mailbox attached to the building to the right of the front entry doors of the Sales and Reception Center. Your credit card will be charged when your package is put out.

Vacation Rental Policies
Check-in time is 3 pm. Check out time is 11 am. If an earlier check-in time is needed, please call the office at 800-474-0070 so that we may accommodate you.
All condo rentals are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on outside decks. Please be as considerate as possible to your non-smoking neighbors, and do not throw butts to the ground.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
If the reservation is cancelled within 7 calendar days prior to the arrival date, you are obligated for the cost of your reservation reduced only by our ability to re-book the unit. There will be no refund for early departure.
There is no minimum stay requirement.
